FCA US LLC reported a 5% increase in first-quarter U.S. total sales, driven by strong retail demand. For the quarter, U.S. sales were 469,651 vehicles, compared with 446,768 for the same period a year earlier. Retail sales rose 25% compared with the first quarter of 2020.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) today reported sales of 90,853 units delivered in the first quarter of 2021. This marks a 21 percent increase from Q1 2020.
Electrify Canada is continuing its network expansion with the opening of its newest DC fast charging station in Calgary, Alberta, located at the Canadian Tire store at 910 57 Avenue Northeast. The station is equipped with four chargers capable of speeds up to 150kW or 350kW, which is the fastest universal charging available for EVs.

Nissan Group announced total U.S. first-quarter (January-March) sales for the calendar year 2021 of 285,553 units, an increase of 10.8 percent versus the prior year.
General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) announced today it sold 642,250 vehicles in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2021, with retail deliveries up 19 percent and fleet sales down 35 percent year over year. Total sales were up 4 percent compared to a year ago. All four GM U.S. brands had double-digit year-over-year increases in retail sales.

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported total March sales of 31,991 vehicles, an increase of 104.2 percent compared to March 2020. Year-to-date sales totaled 83,258 vehicles; an increase of 23 percent compared to the same time last year.
